This organisation is an innovative, vertically integrated Construction Group utilising modern methods of construction to deliver amazing projects across New Zealand.  They delivers a range of building projects for public and private sector clients and leads the Kiwi market in bringing together modular and traditional construction to deliver well designed, quality kiwi-made buildings at an unreal pace.

This role manages the upper north island operations for two key parts of business; one delivers  plumbing, gas fitting, electrical, drainage and roofing services; and a second which manufactures and supplies windows & doors systems.  The Commercial Manager is a key position, responsible for the overall leadership and performance both the these divisions for the upper North Island including the launch of new operations in the Auckland region.

The Role:

• Manage daily operations of the two divisions in the upper North Island with a strong focus on the Auckland area to ensure timely project completion, high quality standards, and achievement of business unit targets.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and accountability for Branch Managers and Foremen to meet KPIs and maintain operational standards/excellence.
• Support Branch Managers in cultivating strategic client partnerships to secure long-term, repeat business opportunities.
• Promote and implement group-wide processes, checklists, and reporting standards across both existing and new branches as well as identify inefficiencies in operations and spearhead targeted improvement initiatives.

 The ideal candidate

• Experience managing multi-site or multi-division operations in construction, manufacturing, or trade services.
• Experience in launching and scaling new business units or service lines.
• Strong commercial acumen with track record of delivering profitable growth.
• Excellent leadership, people development, and change management skills.
• Highly motivated, energetic and calm under pressure
• Be comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and able to work on multiple projects at any given time.
